What is BubbleCup
BubbleCup is a competitive on-chain game on Abstract Chain. Each season, players create bubbles - tokens with their own liquidity pools. Bubbles compete for the highest ELO score. At the end of the season, the top-ranked bubble wins.
Seasons last 6 days. After each season, the winning token survives as a fully independent ERC-20 token. Everything else gets liquidated.
Create Your Bubble
Anyone can create a bubble during an active season. It costs between 0.01 and 1 ETH. Your ETH goes directly into the liquidity pool - it is not a fee.
- •Your bubble gets 1,000,000 tokens with automatic liquidity across 5 price zones.
- •All liquidity is permanently locked - nobody can pull it.
- •As the bubble creator (called DEV), you receive 10% of the token supply.
- •Your bubble is immediately tradeable (Uniswap V3 liquidity pool).
Trading
Bubbles trade throughout the entire season. Buying and selling is open to everyone, but wallet-to-wallet transfers are blocked until the season ends. All trading happens in-game, powered by Uniswap V3.
- •Buy tax: 0.9% on every buy-trade. No tax on sells.
- •Anti-snipe protection: in the first 100 seconds after a bubble is created, a declining tax protects against bots. It starts near 100% and drops to 0% linearly.
- •Flash loan protection and per-trader cooldowns prevent manipulation.
ELO Score
Every bubble has an ELO score that determines its ranking. ELO is calculated from two factors:
- •Liquidity size.
- •Holders - how healthy is the token distribution.
ELO increases are vested by 1 hour - a last-minute buy does not give instant ELO. Decreases are immediate. This prevents last-second manipulation.
Merge via Sacrifice
The core mechanic. A bubble creator can merge their bubble into a stronger one, transferring its liquidity. The source bubble disappears, but its holders receive target bubble tokens proportionally.
- •Time window to proceed Merge - opens on Day 3 and closes 1 hour before season end.
- •The target of a merge - must be at least 2x the market cap of the source.
- •Only the bubble DEV can initiate a merge of their own bubble.
- •There is a 10% fee to proceed with a merge - this fee stays within the TARGET bubble of a merge.
- •After merge, holders can claim their share of their new bubble.
Season Timeline
What Happens When You Win
The bubble with the highest ELO at the end of the season wins. After the season closes:
- •All losing bubbles are liquidated - their ETH is collected.
- •The collected ETH buys the winning token over 3 days (DCA buyback) and burns every token it buys.
- •Protocol takes 10% fee.
- •After the buyback completes, the protocol gives up all control over the winner token.
- •The winning token becomes a fully independent ERC-20 - free to trade and transfer, with permanent liquidity locked forever.
Key Things to Know
- •This is experimental software. You interact with smart contracts at your own risk.
- •Every season is a fresh deployment - new contracts, new tokens, clean slate.
- •Liquidity is permanently locked in every bubble.
- •The 0.9% buy tax stays active forever on the winning token - it is a permanent feature built in the token contract.
- •All game logic runs on-chain. The winner is determined by the smart contract - with on-chain data only.
